Accessibility
Built for everyone who books, works, and heals.
How we make this website and Freedom Practice usable with any device or assistive technology, and how to reach us when something is not.
Updated October 25, 2026
Our goal
Everyone should be able to book a visit, run a front desk, and write a note with Freedom Practice, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We design and test this website, clinics’ booking pages, the client hub, and the staff app against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What we do
- Keyboard: pages are built to work without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
- Screen readers: buttons, fields, and status messages have labels and are announced, and every image that carries meaning has a text description.
- Reading and color: we check text and controls against the contrast guidelines, pages reflow when text is enlarged to 200%, and color is not the only way something is shown.
- Touch: buttons are large enough to tap on a phone, and the booking flow fits a small screen.
- Motion: animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Language: clinics’ booking pages and reminders are also in Spanish.
- Time: sign-in codes and booking holds give enough time to finish, and a booking held for you can be picked again.
Known limits
- Screenshots on this website are illustrations of the app with made-up data; each has a short description.
- Some generated PDFs, such as draft claim forms and receipts, are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. Ask the clinic or us for the same details another way.
Tell us what is not working
If anything on this website or in Freedom Practice is hard to use, email info@freedomtech.us with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days and to fix problems in our next release. If you are a client of a clinic and need help booking right away, call the clinic.
